Purpose: Supports PhD students with living costs while studying at a Monash campus in Australia.

    • 1 in Humanities & Social Sciences (HASS)

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • Australian citizen, NZ citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or international student

  • Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process
  • Meet Monash’s English language proficiency requirements
  • Can be taken up by students in Joint Research Awards (Monash as home institution)

  3. No need to select this specific scholarship — if eligible, you’re automatically considered.
  4. Only awarded in the 31 October scholarship round.
    • Applicants from earlier rounds (1–4) of the same year are automatically considered.
  5. New applicants must first get an invitation to apply from the relevant faculty.
