Application Process
- Apply for your Oxford graduate course the December or January deadline (depends on your course).
- No separate scholarship application needed — all applicants are automatically considered.
- Applications are reviewed your department and top candidates are nominated for Clarendon.
- Divisional panels shortlist nominees in February–March.
- Successful candidates receive the Clarendon award letter (CB1).
- Final funding package and college placement confirmed in April–June.
Timeline
- Apply to Oxford course: December/January (course dependent)
- Shortlisting: Feb–Mar 2026
- Scholarship offers sent: end of April 2026
- Final placements & funding packages: Apr–Jun 2026
If you haven’t heard back mid-June, assume the application was not successful.
